I agreed with you that AIDs is a disease that is considered mostly pertaining to the male population. I knew that before it was considered the "gay man's disease", and after class this past Tuesday, I was intrigued to hear about Shawn and Ryan White's stories of contracting the disease although neither Shawn or Ryan were homosexual.
